On your iPhone, you can block people you can no longer contact. When you block someone on your iPhone, you will no longer be able to receive incoming calls from them – you are simply blocking your iPhone from showing their caller ID on your iPhone, so when they call you, your iPhone will be like it’s turned off.
You may have noticed that you can’t see missed calls from people you’ve blocked when scrolling through the missed or recent list. When you block someone, you are telling your iPhone that you don’t want their caller ID in your history, because the point of blocking is that you don’t want to handle it in terms of calls.
Only people you haven’t blocked will appear when they tried to call you and were successful. If someone you blocked tries to call you, it will ring once and then go straight to voicemail, but it won’t show up in your call history.

Can you see blocked calls on iPhone?

Unfortunately, it is impossible to see the missed call history of the numbers you have blocked on your iPhone. The Phone app doesn’t have a section where you can see the missed call history of the people you’ve blocked. When you block someone, their call history will never appear in the missed calls area.
The only way to see these numbers is to unlock them. When they try to call you when they are not blocked, you will see their missed calls, but you will know you know when they are calling you because it will show on your iPhone and the calls to them will start ringing normally once and then go straight to voicemail.

View missed calls from blocked numbers on iPhone

While you won’t see missed calls from blocked numbers, you can if you want to receive a missed call when someone blocks you. How? Unblocking their number. If you don’t really like this person, you can unblock their number to see when they try to contact you, but don’t answer their calls and block them again when you see their missed calls.

1. Phone app on your iPhone.
2. The Contacts option at the bottom of the screen.
3. Now find the number you want to unblock and press the data icon associated with the number.
4. This will take you to a new screen with the Unblock this Caller option. Just tap this option and then tap Unblock Contact to confirm the action.

The problem is that your intention to block them in the first place is no longer fulfilled and you will see this every time they try to call you. There is no place where you can see their missed calls without seeing when they try to call you.

Set your phone to NST

With the iPhone’s Do Not Disturb feature, calls can be sent to voicemail for a set amount of time. Being able to handle calls and close your eyes at the same time is a lifesaver. Launch the Settings app and select Do Not Disturb from the Do Not Disturb list to enable the feature. Select the Scheduled option and then tap the from box.
During this time, your iPhone will not produce any sounds or sensations. A warning is the only exception that makes sense. You expect it to sound as expected when you set an alarm on purpose.
Do not disturb mode can be activated manually. You can access the control center by swiping up from the bottom of any screen. Tap the moon symbol to activate Do Not Disturb mode.
If you need total silence on your iPhone, this is the perfect option. Note that turning off the ringer does not prevent notifications from playing. You can silence your iPhone and prevent messages from appearing on the lock screen using Do Not Disturb mode.
Even when Do Not Disturb is enabled, you can set up a list of allowed callers. From the Settings menu, select Do Not Disturb> Allow Calls.
Instead of rejecting unwanted callers when they’ve already called, this is a great way to filter calls by selecting specific callers from your contact list. Unfortunately, turning off notifications by turning on Do Not Disturb has the opposite effect. As a whitelist feature, Apple may allow users to receive calls only from people in the authorized caller list. However, a side effect of Do Not Disturb mode is that notifications are temporarily disabled.
